The tribal of Mayurbhanj district of Odisha are developing their education social and cultural activities etc. in the society.
There are tribal peoples are living in the world and throughout in India .Not only in India the trial people are dwelling in Mayurbhanj district in Odisha also. The population of tribal people in India are very large .There are 730 (The seven hundred and thirty) types of tribal are residing in India.
There are 62 (Sixty tow )types of tribal people are living in Odisha state .The majore and most developed tribe is Santhal. The santhal tribes has far developed in all fields. After santhals it seems there are "HO' tribes comes.The tribal people "HO' has a vast population and those are explained below.

1. Education and their own script.
The "Ho" tribe people in India are studying lessons and embarassing all Customs knowledges by using their script called "Warang kchiti". They have their Ho language learning and teaching Association named as "The All INDIA WARANGKCHITI HO LANGUAGE BOARD AND COUNCIL DALKI". Such education board is managed by a Registered NGO i.e KOLHAN WORLD COMMISSION situated at- DALKI, p.o Moranda, p.s.- Bahalda, dist-Mayurbhanj in Odisha,vide Registered No-1741-12/2003-04.Since the year 2000 the Warang kchiti education is going on till date for the upliftment of ho tribe people, The Student has already appeared from std.10 exams upto 3 years Degree course in their own language.
2.The cultural activities .
The cultural activities and programs of the people are very good. The people observe their cultural programmes in whole year, every month has their cultural festivals.The ho tribe people observe their cultural programmes mainly such as and viz. Mage,Baha,Heroh and Jomnama.Not only such activities are going on but also many more activities are observing.
3.Social activities.
The social activities of the ho tribe people are very encient.All such programs are done by the gathered people.The people has the activities are far different from other tribal. The people observe such activities as they observe in old days. Under matrimonial They take marriage in tow ways one is arranged marriage and other is loved marriage.
4.Agriculture .
Most of the tribal people are living with their agriculture by making rice, wheat , paddy, mucka etc They mostly farms rice in the country. About 90% people depend on agriculture only. The government job holders are very rare. The people serves their life with this. After collecting their farms they are going out for labour duty for other state cities to Bangalor, Gujarat ,Maharashtra and Hyderabad etc
5.Matrimonial.
The "HO" tribe people are now a days taking their marriage with all caste people .The daughter and sisters of the people are seeing tomarry other caste people such as Pathans,Brahmans and khristians also.Their is no bar for the ho tribe people. The ho caste people has custom for marrying some reputed trees and with dogs also.
6. Food and beverage.
As the people are depending under agriculture farming their main food is rice meal and wheat The people has educated a bit and knew some idea to take foods from hotels and restaurants also. The people of ho tribes are not only eating vegetable but also taking non -veg .The people takes the meat of Bear,rat , snake ,frog, cow,all birds etc As their beverage has i.e "DIYANG".this is their very old beverage .They have been taking and would take fot long future time, because they will unable to live without DIYANG..
7.General Education.
That education we shall say what is running under government. Almost all the villages and cities government education is going on, the people are also taking their benefit but inspite of having numbers of government hostel facilities with free of cost feeding etc. The ho tribe people are unable to take opportunities. Because ho tribe people are not sending their pupil to the schools regularly.
8.Transport in day today life.
The people are now a days earning the bit so they are using bicycle ,motorcycle as transport. They have developed in the field of life style .Rather they will not build a single pucca building for dewling couple but would prefer to buy a motorcycle.They will not prefer to eat both times meal but would buy abike .So now a days every body has a motor bicycle for going here and there. 9.Occupation. The HO tribes has far developed in the field of agriculture farming , except the field of farming some people making vegetable farming because after the end season of agriculture farming they unable to migrate for other places due to other causes may be week heath and physical unfit for doing hard work. And there is the little persons making government jobs. The Tribal people of the HO are really underdeveloped in all fields . They doesn't seem the availability of any success field I.e. in the field of government services or any business..
